FOREST FAMILY FUN DAY

A WARM WELCOME IS EXTENDED TO EVERYONE 


August 24th 10am-4pm @ Caerdroia

A fun and entertaining day for all, in partnership with Conwy's Way of Life group, including -

  • Treasure hunt along the Llwybr-Y-Ceirw sculpture trail that was inspired by Llanrwst's Medieval history and created by local artists Meagn Broadmeadow and Mari Gwent.
  • An hour demonstration by Cafi Cristobal entitled "How to Make a Good Cup of Tea!". Cris Martindale will share his expertise behind making the perfect cuppa whilst alluding to the history, politics, folktales, and world-wide variation of the humble cup of tea.
  • Women-led group Soulskin will be running workshops in spiritual and personal healing and growth. The sessions will be held in the tepee the women made themselves from local trees.
  • Storytelling workshops with Gwdihw and Fiona Collins and Celtic drumming workshop with Alan Collinson.
  • Forest Management, green-woodworking, and healthy cookery demonstrations.
  • Outdoor activities and a nature trail for children.
  • Muisicians and more!

*There are two shuttle buses running all day (10am-3pm) to the Caerdroia Forest Site from Gwydyr Park car park, Llanrwst (near the bridge and cafe on stilts). Sure Start are providing safety seats for children.
*Bring a packed lunch
*Tea, coffee, and cakes available to buy.
