Golygfa Gwydyr’s Community Woodland Management and Wood-fuel Service provides a low cost service to public and private woodland owners in rural Conwy who’s woodland is too small and/or inaccessible for commercial management/harvesting..

The service takes on volunteers from the NEETs sector who are keen to gain training, experience, and mentoring to improve their job prospects in rural Conwy. Committed volunteers will also be able to access free chain-saw and first-aid accredited training courses. Eight people have already received their chain-saw and first-aid tickets through the scheme.
