Making Woodlands work for all.
Golygfa Gwydyr’s Community Woodland Management and Wood-fuel Service provides a low cost service to public and private woodland owners in rural Conwy who’s woodland is too small and/or inaccessible for commercial management/harvesting.
The service takes on volunteers from the NEETs sector who are keen to gain training, experience, and mentoring to improve their job prospects in rural Conwy. Committed volunteers will also be able to access free chain-saw and first-aid accredited training courses. Eight people have already recieved their chain-saw and first-aid tickets through the scheme.
If you are interested in one of the trainee volunteer positions (benefits not affected see ) or if you own a woodland which is not under management, or want to earn more from your woodland resource, please get in touch on 01492 642 110 and ask for Roger or Tina or email firstname.lastname@example.org
