North Wales MapDue to the remote location of the Caerdroia site we usually operate a minibus service to transport people to any events. Depending on the event, there will either be a small charge for this service or it will be included in the event is ticketed. The pick up point for this is the Gwydyr Uchaf car park next to the Gwydyr Chapel (details below).

Alternatively, you can get to the Caerdroia site by following the Llwybr y Ceirw Sculpture Trail, an option we always like to encourage.

The trail leads directly to the Caerdroia Labyrinth and has several sculptures along it’s path and at one juncture a marvellous panoramic, breathtaking and undisturbed view over Llanrwst and that part of the Conwy valley.

The trail starts from the Sawbench car park. There is usually plenty of space to park there though it can be busy at weekends as it is also the start of the renowned Marin mountain bike trail. You can park at the Gwydyr Uchaf car park also, as Saw Bench is just up the and along to the right on the Forest track there, no more than half a mile.

How to get to Gwydir Uchaf car park (for events):

Gwydir Uchaf car park MapLlanrwst is on the A470. Find the turning for Trefriw (B5106); this is through the town centre if approaching from the A55 or Llandudno, or before the town if approaching from Betws-y-Coed. Go over the single lane bridge and take a left at the first junction (signpost to Gwydir Castle). Take the next right past the castle (signpost to Gwydir Chapel) and proceed up the winding path to the car park at the top.
