GOLYGFA GWYDYR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 28th July, 2016 at 18.00
Thank you for your support and attendance at Golygfa Gwydyr events this last year. We are pleased that you signed up for our mailing list and hope you will continue to come to our events throughout 2015/16.
You will know Golygfa Gwydyr through the Caerdroia theatre, storytelling and drumming events. May I take this opportunity to let you know that we do much more in Llanrwst and at the Caerdroia site in the Gwydyr Forest. Our other activities are based around our Job Club in Llanrwst and the Caerdroia Education and Training programme which stimulates community action and integration.
Golygfa Gwydyr will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28th July, from 1800 hours at our building, Plough Street Llanrwst LL26 0AG. Come and see what we have done to the building, see our displays and information, and take part in activities such as Celtic drumming. There will be an opportunity to meet the directors and other members, find out about what we are doing within the community, and share a cup of tea or coffee in our premises.
If you would like to attend I would be grateful if you could confirm either by email or in writing. At the AGM we will be electing members to the Board. If you want to be nominated, or know someone who does, please get in touch with me and I will outline the commitment and provide you with a nomination form. If you are a member and cannot attend but wish to nominate a proxy please inform me in writing before the meeting takes place. This will be your opportunity to show support and have a say in future events and activities. We are a community organisation and a strong membership is important, we act on behalf of our membership for the good of the community.
